The staff was very courteous, friendly & helpful. Google translate helped facilitate conversations. Breakfasts were spare but adequate with fresh juice, eggs & avocado offered daily in addition to fruit, cheese, deli meat, bread, tea & coffee. Rooms were a mixed bag. Our first night we were in a too small 3rd floor room without views (skylight only) and low ceilings in the bathroom. The next few nights they moved us to a small 2nd floor room with a window/balcony but right over the main entry so it was quite loud, especially early morning. Following our return from a 5-day trek to Machu Picchu, we had a lovely 2nd floor room of adequate size with balcony/window overlooking the street and far enough from the entry to reduce the street and conversational noise.

Super comfortable room, feels like home. I am a light sleeper, and was suffering from insomnia during my last high altitude trip( Tibet), so I asked for a quiet room before arriving. They gave me a super quiet and homey room. I ended up sleeping very well for 6 nights. Every stuff is super responsive, genuine and always there to help. The location is a prime, only a few minutes walking from a main plaza. I had the best stay during my one month vocation in South America.

* Great location - walking distance to all the great restaurants and tourist attractions, * Polite and helpful staff - fast check-in and out, agreed to keep our luggage, 24h service * Beautiful clean rooms with decent price, * Free teabags and hot water provided at the lobby to help adjust altitude sickness.

I rarely give 10 stars but this lovely family run hotel was everything we wished for and more.. The staff went far and beyond to help us with everything. We stayed there twice and got free upgrade. Great value for the money, hot shower with good pressure, heater in the room, excellent location, great service, great room.. Don't expect 5* hotel but if you are after nice authentic family run hotel, Kori Gems is the best choice in Cusco. They gave us advice about landmarks in Cusco, lend us small towel for our trek and were very helpful with advice regarding altitude sickness. Coca tea available in the lobby for free, 24 hours a day 👌

We stayed in Kori gems 3 times, with some very early or very late arrivals or starting times and they always accommodated our needs. The rooms we stayed at were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and we chatted with some of them quite a bit. The location is great, central yet quiet. highly recommended. The patio is very nice to sit and enjoy a nice coca tea.

We stayed twice with an absence of two days in between. Family of four; the first four days we got room no. 10 which we had chosen and it’s an awesome two story room with a king size bed on the first level and two twins at the top. Lovely room with beautiful details and lovely authentic look. Very comfortable beds.

The place is in very good location - close enough to the tourist areas, but far enough to be on a quiet street. The staff were very helpful and polite. There was free coca tea and other stuff to make sure you have a fresh start of the day each morning and the breakfast was good.

Rustic old Spanish style house in a good location. A little uphill but after a day in Cusco no problem. Spend more and I’m sure you get nicer. This is a good value for those who don’t need perfect. You’re in Cusco you just need a place to sleep between the long days of local sightseeing.

Very central, walking distance from the center. The room was super spacious over two floors which felt like our own little house. We had breakfast included in our booking but because we went on excursions early in the morning we couldn’t have it in the hotel so the staff made us some breakfast box to take with us on the road. Small hotel in a cute courtyard in the middle that gives a rustic quaint vibe. We loved it
